Appreciating AssassinsIt’s tough work being a phantom assassin. People are either terrified you’re there to kill them, or they’re bent on trying to destroy you because they think it will somehow raise their own reputations. Ridiculous, really. Assassinations are simply part of the job and it’s weird that people would take them so seriously. Take Mortred for example. She’s a member of the Sisters of the Veil (a.k.a. phantom assassins). She looks similar to this little POP! DOTA 2 Phantom Assassin figure, with pale blues and blacks, bright green eyes, and a plumed helmet (although she’s not 4 inches tall like this figure is). Poor Mortred is just off trying to do her job as everyone mocks her for being an assassin of the order. Can’t an assassin get a little bit of respect? Is that too much to ask? We don’t think so.
